Cooker Installation is this quote fair?

I had a quote from Cooker-Service for fitting my cooker for £49.00. Is this a fair quote?

I just moved into my house and need it installed.

Any help would be great, i have had past trouble with gas jobs so a cheap price would be great

    seems fair when you consider travel to and from etc. the hose alone will be about 10-20. If its bayonet why not do it yourself or get it thrown in with the purchase price of the stove?

    Fitting only I charge £60 + VAT, if parts are needed then it is usually £80 + VAT.

    You've got a bargain.

    Mine cost me £30 and I got a fiance out of it... think he gave me mate's rates though!

    Seriously though, £49 is a very good price. Please make sure he (or she?) is Gas Safe registered and well recommended.

    Thanks everyone i was surprised to see it was a woman lol she was very friendly and i checked her gas safe number online so she was gas safe registered i also paid her a bit extra for a gas safety certificate just for peace of mind thanks for your comments xx
