  • This offer is abailable in store, my local Sainsbury's still had three on the shelf this morning and I am planning to get one tomorrow.

Is this brand still any good? It used to be, but this could just be a Vestel or some other cheap brand.

It is made by UMC in Slovakia - so as per Sharp, Bush and Hitachi this is another re-badged cheap brand TV. Reviews by customers seem to suggest that it's OK but not worth anywhere near the original price, nor do all of its advertised functions work perfectly (e.g. issues with recording onto USB, or watching 3D from this source).
  • I'm also wondering how you watch 3D? Special DVD player or something?

You can watch normal 2d tv with this through its inbuilt digital Freeview tuner.

You can watch 2d tv in 'sort of 3d' but it's not great.

You can watch 3d tv if you have Sky by subscribing to their World Package (verY expensive option for what you get for it)

The cheaper option is to add a 3d Blu Ray player (there are plenty of films out now to rent or buy)

Impressed with this bargain 3D TV and surprised to see it still instock in my local Sainsburys.

Picked up one of these from our local Sainsburys tonight... they have been further reduced to £150. Got last one on the shelf, unsurprisingly at that price :)
  • I went into the store this morning, took one to the counter to check the price and it is coming up on the till at 199.99 still !
  • The price is still £199.99 (confirmed with Sainsbury's head office this afternoon.

Not sure how 'rellarips' got one for £150.....

Been very impressed with mine, watched PussnBoots on Sky 3D at the weekend and whilst the cartoon is not up to much, the quality of the picture was excellent.

Watched the footy on ESPN HD Saturday, and ESPN are renowned for not having very good HD capabilities, but the TV seemed to handle it well.

Sound is not Great, but better than a number of the Slim TVs I've seen/heard lately.

    Well worth the £199.99
  • Does anyone know how it handles motion, have an older major brand lcd model which blocks on black screens e.g night time shots.
Am looking at this one but not sure how it handles motion on screen connected to Sky.

Also have people got the sky remote control working ok with this TV ?

    Out of stock.
  • I bought the 32 inch version the other week for £199. It is a good tv and £350 is a good price for one this size. In fact I am still tempted to buy another 32 inch one as its the size I need for an amazing price. Im not so blown away by the price for the 42 however................
