  • Thanks rich5wolves and shinnanigans just ordered mine :)
Any further details I should know about?
  • please excuse my ignorance also, but am I right in thinking the only way you will be able to watch anything in 3D is if you have a 3d dvd player? or can you watch normal tele in 3d?

My neighbours have a 47"LG and tgat turns normal tv to 3D. It isn't as great as 3d but it's bearable.

I'm also wondering how you watch 3D? Special DVD player or something?
  • Hi,
Can any new users of this tv please let me know what the media player function is like and whether it has a network connection.

    Thanks.

This tv does have 2d to 3d upscale but will only add depth to the images. The only way to have a full 3d experience (with things coming out the screen) is to view 3d blu ray via a 3d blu ray player. Is not WiFi enabled so unable to view 3d content from the internet, as I said previously if you purchase a 3d blu ray player with WiFi you would be able to watch 3d content via internet. Or buy / rent 3d blu rays, or via sky hd / (3d free with hd package).

Hope that answers most of your questions.
  • Please I just need to know whether I'd need to buy another WDTV to use with this to watch through my home network or if it could connect and play the media itself?
  • Ignore, just checked and now out of stock.
  • I have this tv also, can't fault it for the price and I'm not surprised of how quickly it sold out, but on the site it says you can record digital tv into a memory drive, I have tried everything and this dosnt seem possible? Does anyone who has the tv know how to?

I ordered this TV on Sunday night, but have only received an order acknowledgement thus far. Wonder if they've sold more than they have available..

Fingers crossed that they honour it.
