Vodafone, the last of the big phone companies to come out with a price rise this year?

Stopping Vodafone Passport and replacing it with a £3 per day charge is really annoying . I have close family living abroad and have used this for a few years now with the calls taken out of my monthly minutes.

There will always be winners and losers in changes. In your case you lost out, but for many people it's a better deal.

It says they are required to give 1months notice and the changes take effect on november 1st, but I was only informed today (the 2nd of October). Would this be a break in the t's&c's for me to cancel?

To previous OP, did you get an answer? I've only got the text today and I've only had my contract a little over a month, so a bit miffed as there are much better contracts out there at this moment in time

I've also only just received the text today - it works out as a 95p per month increase for me.

Vodafone aren't stupid - remember a while ago Orange fell over their own Ts & Cs and a lot of people used it to leave. Rest assured Vodafone will have everyone over a barrel knowing they can't terminate their contract.

I've re-read and think they only have to give you 14 days notice
  • The more I read about Vodafone, the less I want anything to do with them.
