I did not buy the milk I found some dried milk and made that up it tasted fine in tea. So NSD 3 for me I am really enjoying not spending money. I never thought I would say that. I do need to go shopping tomorrow. Although I have made a list of things I need for the week so I am hoping for some more NSD I think I am addicted.

4 NSD's in a row for me last week ( Mon - Thurs ).. attempting to do another 4-5 this week....I must admit the naughty vending machine at work is looking more and more tempting with every NSD that passes...“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0

Hey all, I need a little of your level headed advise....it's my DM b'day next month and I was already thinking of dragging her into the 21st century and getting her an iPad as a joint b'day / xmas gift. Whilst we were away the other week she had a go one one and is now talking about getting one (she won't go out and get one without me so I can easily delay her buying one) BUT...
1) we've bought her 'expensive' gifts in the past like a camera that never got used (now replaced) and a stereo that I have recently set up but she's already forgotten how to use
SO...
I'm torn between getting her the latest iPad as I know it won't be replaced any time soon (if ever) so want her to have the 'best' if she's going to have one, or wondering whether to get her the iPad 2 which is obviously a bit cheaper and would 'do' for her.
I do have some vouchers and discounts to use, so won't be looking to pay full price, and it will be the basic 16GB wireless model.
I guess part of me thinks she always tried to give me the best growing up, and I'm somehow not if I get the iPad 2, but the other part of me says 'the 2 will do everything she needs, the 3 is just extra money that isn't necessary'
Sorry for the waffle, just wondered if anyone had any thoughts?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I would go for the ipad 2 kerri. It wouldent do any harm to give her a few lessons when she has it.
