I refuse too, same as I refuse to use the Addison Lee app, or anything that would have card/bank details for that matter.
My phone is often left around the office unlocked, so I'd just rather not.

I don't trust my Blackberry and I'm not techie-minded, so I just use the computer at home."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

But surely you'd have to know bank security passwords to log in anyway?

Prefer to use desktop pc - small keyboard and screen are far too fiddly.0

I'm happy to use my banks' apps for banking, but dislike using it via web browser, as it's too fiddly0

I use my smartphone for everything, its no different to using a pc. I use my banks apps as well as accessing them via the browser if i need to do something more than check my balances.Debt free and staying that way! :beer:0

Don't think that smartphones are any less secure. They're probably safer than using desktops or laptops actually.
Smartphones don't keep your information on show or store it (unless you give it explicit permission or download the relevant app), and the security software you'd use to protect yourself on a computer is available on a phone. Avast! is my preferred software. The only information they'd save are your user I.D., which required a simple check box to prevent.
If you don't want to use a smartphone simply out of preference then fair enough. However, don't opt out of using it based on the assumption that it's somehow less secure; and certainly don't be lured into a false sense of security when using computers. Both are only protected to the extent the user is willing to go.0 -
