B&Q are selling a water butt pump.I was wondering if anyone here has one and if they work ok.I was thinking of using it to pump the water from the bath in the summer months when my water butt is dry. Do you think the pump would do that?
I was thinking of a water butt pump for down the allotment it wasn't a powered one you built up the pressure by hand and then you can water with a hose attachment. I also have a 20ft long polytunnel so i'm watching the prices of these things
How much is the B&Q one.Kind Regards
Maz
self sufficient - in veg and eggs from the allotment0 -
Try and find out how much "head" it will pump.
Some of the cheaper pumps will generate flow but no head meaning it will not pump
out of the bath through a window (assuming thats what you want to do).
Ideally look for a few foot of head from a little pump like this - just enough to get it through the window after which gravity takes over.0 -
