My husband will be the one working and I am his carer. He gets long term IB and middle rate DLA/lower rate for care. I get carers for him. He is looking at working around 16-20hrsp/w. We put in these details and it keeps saying about this 39.00. I know if I go back to work he would still get his IB in his own right but we want off the benefit if we can. If we don't get that extra we would not be better off.0

I am not much help with regard your benefits, and do not understand about Tax credits etc, however, as he receives DLA are you aware of the NEW DEAL for disabled? You said that he was hoping to come off benefits - the new deal, from what I understand, supports you while you work without losing your benefits so you can see whether you can manage working.0
