I've got a PC and the internet access and Outlook are fine, I've got a wireless laptop where I can access the internet but get error messages when sending e mail. Can't understand that one cos I've been on to NTl who proved that it is not a problem with their set up and said it's something to do with OUtlook Any thoughts?

Can you also please explain exactly what you're trying to do? Are you trying to send email from the laptop, using the wireless connection, via Outlook on your PC? Have you installed Outlook on the laptop and configured it to use the shared internet connection on the PC?
You cannot share Outlook between the PC and the laptop - you need MS Exchange to do that. You must have two separate Outlook accounts - one on the PC, to connect via the internet connection, and one on the laptop, to connect to the internet via the PC's internet connection.
More information, please ...Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
...worth checking again your pop mail server settings again as well as username and password0

The alert I get is "Task pop.ntlworld.com- sending and receiving report error. The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues contact your server administrator"
What I can't understand is I was able to use both the PC and laptop until 48 hours ago.Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0 -

I'm using XP with Office 2003. I've tried looking in help, but can find no reference to exporting settings. Thanks anyway.Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0
