In fact, sorry in advance, but i'm going to say what everyone else is thinking.
Studentphil you really need to stop all of these strange posts. We seem to get about 3 or 4 a week from you that have nothing to do with money saving, no matter how you try and spin it. If you want to talk about these things there are plenty of places you can go. Try https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk and leave this place for money saving.
we seem to hear a lot about how life is so terrible for you and i'm sorry that you dont seem to have much luck at university but i must stress this is a forum for student moneysaving not student waffleHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I have done some revision today.:beer:0 -
You also posted 62 times on MSE. Time that could be better spent with your exams looming surely.0

Put quite simply - if you revise your topic thoroughly you have nothing to fear when it comes to exams. I posted on here a while ago asking for revision tips for closed book exams - everyone was very helpful and as a result, I have taken their advice and no longer feel stressed about my exams as I know my revision is going to get me through.
Studentphil - if you too have exams coming up, and you are concerned about them, I can't understand how you find the time in your day to post 62 times on MSE... I have a 2 yr old son and find it difficult to find the time to pop on here once or twice a day. If you feel you are not fully prepared, then maybe look at how you are using your time.

I am allowed some holiday you.
I call revision scream time as it is a matter of learning 11 weeks of stuff that you do not understand any of it.:beer:0 -

I'm not having a go at you, everyone's entitled to a break (hence me being on here while LO has his lunch and after spending morning cleaning kitchen)... The thread was initially started about exam pressure and how you cope with it. I am simply stating that if someone is concerned about their performance in an exam, then a more productive way to spend their time would be to study rather than spend time posting on here. I suppose it depends where your priorities lie.0 -

What is the best way to over come common problems like exam panic?
I think the best way to think of exams is even if you fail, it is not the end of the world and there is always a resit or you have to find something different in life which you are good at.
We still have 14 weeks of term until our end of year exams :eek::eek:
I like exam panic, it's what makes me work! I did contemplate getting CBT (as I get really freaked!), but one of my lecturers asked what would happen if it was the stress etc that got me through. Decided to just go with the flow. I'm sure I'll regret it come July!!!April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200 -

That's not a good way to look at it at all. You shouldn't rely on resits - you don't get resits in life. Resits should only really be for folk who have missed coursework or an exam, not for folk who didn't put effort in the first time round.
The best thing to do is revise, and then revise more.
Practice past papers, or draft answer plans for topics.
Speak to fellow students, or tutors about revising your own subject.
Carry record cards with you, with theories written on, and read them as you sit on the train or whatever.
Get a good nights sleep before the exam and go in fresh and do your best.
