Is the TalkTalk network locked? (Nokia 6111 Cath Kidston)

Sorry, I did search to see if this had been asked previously but I couldn't find anything

My current mobile, Razr is rubbish and giving up on me after 8months :mad: So I'm planning to buy a Cath Kidston Nokia 6111 moblie, it's on the TalkTalk network but I'm on contract with that evilness that is Vodafone..

So does anyone know if TalkTalk is unlocked, I know that some Cath Kidston Nokia 6111 are unlocked, but no idea about TalkTalk.. Does anyone know?

im guessing that if the phone is on payg it will probably be locked to talktalk. i cannot be sure as i have never had a talktalk mobile

The Talk Talk network is part of T-Mobile so if it is locked give me a shout and I should be able to unlock it with a free code.

Oh nooo :rolleyes: :rotfl: Well I've ordered it already

Usually I have a read at reviews but didn't bother with this one, it's just too pretty! I'm hoping it's not going to be as bad as my current mobile, Motorola V3/Razr? It's quite simply, crap. Started to go dodgy after 4-5months, battery life rubbish-charging it is pointless, black/blank screen, turns itself off etc, scratches easily and is a horrific nasty grey colour.

Have to say I've had software problems with Nokia mobiles before :rolleyes: Might just send it straight back

Isn't a 6111 on the BB5 platform and therefore not unlockable by anyone other than the network?

The handset is unlikely to be locked on TalkTalk as CPW don't usually lock phones for their own network connections i.e. Fresh, MobileWorld, TalkTalk & CPW O2.
