  • haha - we're pretty much halfway through doing ours in a very similar style. I think it looks spot on as is, but if you're not happy change it! At the end of the day it's you that has to use it.
  • I think a mixture of black and white tiles are great and modern. Love Welsh Totsters bathroom above. My parents have black and white and it looks fantastic. They went for sparkly black floor tiles which add a bit of difference as well!
  • Personally I like it. It looks ultra modern and I wouldn't change it to cream unless you don't like it.

It might be that in 5 or 10 years time it will be come dated but at the moment I think cream tiles look dated. That said I have cream down stairs and white and charcole in my upstairs bathroom.

Welsh Totster I think it looks nice.

I wouldn't put cream in it as all bathroom colours date, so you may as well leave the entire bathroom until the entire bathroom needs to be ripped out.

After all you are on MSE :)
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)
  • If you want to change anything in the bathroom , then why not replace the dark wood bath panel and vanity unit with high gloss white? This would freshen and modernise the room for minimal cost.

    Welsh Totser love your bathroom.

noelphobic I wanna see your sparkly bathroom!!! Sounds lush :)

I like black tiles in a bathroom, although it might be a bit too much if the room was small and dark. I have seen black tiles used in interior design magazines so it is obviously a look a lot of people like. I personally wouldn't bother changing something like that. It's not on a par with having an avocado suite!
