Fire fox my DH takes, trains buses and trams and gets a lift the other end, before we knew about the fleas his work clothes were washed as normal and put back in the wardrobe. He has to buy his own work clothes aswell and only has 1 jumper. Unfortunatly DH used he treatment before I got in, not sure what it was as it was something from work.

You know he can claim back the cost of buying his own work cloths as well as the cost of washing them from the tax man. It's not a lot but it's a help...

  • are you on facebook ? i have lots of pics on there of the bird crew, well correction my daughter has...she tags me in about a zillion of them:o
we just got the second rosella as a friend for rainbow...she was a bit of a weird case as rehomed her off a lady who said rainbow was allergic to wood...erm turned out the perch covered in masking tape was covered in mould:eek:
so we rehomed a cockatiel called cookie but he had flu and died poor thing...he used to wolf whistle..the day he died rainbow started croaking then tiny whistles started coming out...she started wolf whistling too, maybe trying to call him poor girl:(
so we have the new rosella who started shouting cookie when he arrived:eek: all very spooky so hes now named cookie too as it seemed weird and rainbow has slight flirtations with him so fingers crossed they are now a happy pair :o

the lovebirds are all bonkers, one called rio has an odd affection for the perch ..im sure he has a latin accent too as he humps it with a hip swing :rotfl:

Pink I'm not on Facebook im afraid, the bird crew sound lovely. are they all indoors? how big are he rosella's? are they the size of a cockatiel are bigger? how many lovebirds have you got? birds are such great fun arn't they.
  • hi yeah sorry havent been on here for days...yes the birds are all indoors at minute. we have a growing collection of cages housing assorted lovebirds as they all have different company preferences...just like people i guess! the rosellas are just slightly bigger than a cockatiel but not much difference, mainly the tail feathers add to the overall size. they are very pretty birds. unusual in the fact they use there feet to pick up and eat from, more parrotlike i think im trying to say:o
