VODAPHONE!!!! To Breach or Not to Breach!!!

:huh:I have been with vodaphone since January of this year - and almost each mobile phone bill I have received has been wrong (overcharge). They have in turn credited my next months phone bill, deducting the overcharge, however I have simply had enough and want to see if I can be released from the contract due to breach on VP behalf. I have spoken with VP this morning and they have stated the errors are not breaches, simply mistakes and there is nothing I can do. I would challenge this and be so bold as to suggest the repeated errors do in fact constitute a contractual breach!

Is anyone able to advise the oprions I may have? I have been searching online, but not really been able to locate information which I can understand or is not US based!

I have fortunately been able to request (not yet received) a copy of my contract (action akin to climbing everest) and await it's arrival. In the meantime I have take to gnawing my foot in frustration!!!

Kind regards

Psychokatz

I think you are wasting you time. Billing errors don't constitute a breach unless Vodafone refuse to correct them.
  • And trying to talk with Vodafone is worse than that, as you've found! Contact the Web Relations Team via their website (using the heading WRT); otherwise sit back and enjoy things as they are, with problems getting worse rather than better, ridiculous amounts of YOUR time (not theirs, that's for sure!) trying to sort out the mess.
  • The Vodafone Rep who comes on these forums is very good. I'm sure she'll be able to assist you. Just wait - I'm sure she'll be along soon ...
  • She (sometimes he) won't be able to help without that email.

    Hi Psychokatz,

It’s extremely disappointing to hear that you have had numerous errors in your bills. It’s not the experience we want our customers to have and I can appreciate how frustrating it must be.

Although we are not in breach of the contract terms, I will be happy to look into this situation in more detail.

As a few of the guys have pointed out, you can contact me via the link here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject. If you include a link to your post and a contact number, I will get in touch.

    Many thanks,
