NO FEE Bad Credit Loans??
My husband and I have a bad credit history due to having a loan & mortgage when he was laid off and i was 9 months pregnant at the time which resulted in arrears. Both are being paid off monthly now.
HOWEVER- we desperately need a loan of £2500 for 12 months to get some things sorted.
we are both working and can afford the repayments but cannot find a lender. We have been promised the funds by 2 companies now who have taken £69 processing fee and then told us we can only borrow £500 at 800%!!!
PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP???
There must be a company somewhere??

No one I mean no one will you money with a history of bad money management as unfortunately most posters say they can pay them back comfortably which means if they would of done this in the first place then getting a loan now would of been relatively easy.0

You have been had. Its a con. What do you need so desperately. The most sensible option would be a credit union.
but do yourselves a faviour stop going to brokers.0 -
Why do people think there is a magical "bad credit loan company" out there that are happy to lend to people who have a habit of not paying it back.
THERE ISNT ONE.
Only options are to go without, cut back, or go to the bank of mum and dad.0 -
You desperately need it - really?0

If you can afford the repayments, which on £2500 over twelve months would be at least £209 + interest per month, can you not save up?
As it stands, unless the problems were in excess of six years ago, the arrears will continue to show on your reports, and you are still in repayment plans for the debts, from what you say. If this was a DMP, taking out further credit before it is completed will invalidate it. Your creditors may frown upon you using your increased income to service new debts before you pay them too, so be a bit careful.
With recent troubles like that, no reputable lender is going to give you the money on a rate you can afford.
I'm sorry, because this won't be what you want to hear, but the other posters are right - the days of easy credit are gone. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
LB moment - March 2006. DFD - 1 June 2012!!! DEBT FREE!

I struggle to work out why people actually think there is such a company that lends to people who don't pay back what they borrow its ludicrous.0

A Loan isn't going to happen, think of another plan.
You've been stung twice by Brokers, hopefully you are beginning to understand that bad credit loans do not exist.
Who stung you for the £69?
You can write for a refund which they are obliged to honour although if it were longer than 14 days ago, they can retain £5, the other £64 will be refunded (I didn't say it would be easy, but it can be done).0 -
Its soo easy to judge sat at a computer. If you dont have anything useful to say then dont bother!!
I have a disabled stepson who's mother has now left him in our care. A 2 yr old who doesnt qualify 'free' nursery places as we dont get working tax credits etc.
I have a leaking roof and central heating issues so NO i dont have time to save up!!
I was a bank manager for Natwest so i am quite capable of looking after my money thank you, we have just found ourselves to be in a no win situation. I'm not looking for a magical answer, and our parents are in no situation to help.
I also work as well as looking after my disabled mother and elderly grandmother, so yes we can afford the repayments! and no we dont get benefits.
This is supposed to be a 'helpful' forum, why are you bothering posting if you dont have an answer? Or does it make you feel smug and above others to know you are better off than them??
DONT POST IF YOU CANT GIVE ANY CONSTRUCTIVE ADVISE!!!!!!!0 -
Sorry but that is an incredible thing to say:I was a bank manager for Natwest so i am quite capable of looking after my money thank you,
.... and yet you were not aware of these scams or bothered to read what you were applying for?
No wonder our economy is in a mess!
You have had constructive advice.
You need to write to the brokers you applied to and request your fees back.
You will also probably be plagued by other fake lenders as you will now be on their mug lists so be careful not to give your bank details to anyone else.
As others have said you will not get a loan from a reputable lender due to your history so, unfortunately, there is no easy solution.0 -

OP - this has been constructive advice. You were told the answer. You just didn't like it. Lots of people don't when it's not what they want to hear.
Sometimes people on this forum can be harsh but that's because they KNOW what you NEED to hear.
You may not like it, but they're right.....Practically Perfect in Every Way......:grinheart0
