Ebay tickers purchase - seller sending recorded

My only concern is them turning up late
whats your timescale0 -
I'm with Custardy re the timescale - when is the event? If it's for a concert next year, for instance, you may not get the tickets until a month or so beforew - well outside the 45 day Paypal claim time (although I think I read somewhere that this was changing for tickets, but I'm not up on the exact details)0

This has changed for Ebay disputes.
I am not at my PC, so cannot post the link, but it was a change recently (in the last 6 months).0 -
Concert in question is Nov 5 2012 so well within the 45 days here even if I pay now.0

Of course there are. But we're talking £120 worth of tickets here that you've got no comeback on if RM lose them. I wouldn't do it anyway.0 -

the sender doesnt,not your problem though0 -
You could always offer to pay more for postage if you are so concerned.
I've done it for something similar that I didn't want to go missing.0 -
They're probably 'not bothered' because it's rare that recorded delivery items go missing and they think it can't happen to them.
Hmmmm. Recorded is as likely as standard delivery to go missing, perhaps moreso if there is a bent postperson around thinking there's something interesting, probably from eBay, in the envelope.
I hope for the OP they get their tickets though. Cross fingers

More bogeymen. 7 out of 10,000 pieces of mail are lost or stolen.
Some of these are wrongly addressed, some delivered to the wrong address, some stolen.
It's hardly a fingers crossed scenario. Plus it's the seller's risk.0 -
Yes, recorded delivery just goes through with ordinary letters. Now, I don't want to frighten OP, but last Xmas I did a stint in the sorting office, and in the bottom of one of the trolleys I found a Christmas card stuck in a corner. When I pulled it out to re-sort it, it turned out to be from the previous year :eek:A man is rich in proportion to the number of things he can afford to let alone - Thoreau0
