    Yay ive caught up with your new diary and you have really inspired me to be dedicated to mine again... its thats time of year again when things are harder isnt it. Your meals are sounding sooooooooooooooo nice... and look at the change in them since last year!! Last year was bleak, this years meal i wanna join you haha. Provident loans? are they the door stop collection ones? im worrying about you having these because i watched a documentary last week about them turning up to collect payment and offering even more loan so you are tied in forever... and they seem to know when yr stuggling and play on it :S thought id mention so i will sleep right lol xxx

    Hello :D It's defiantly that time of year again, for the first time ever we have money for Xmas though (or will have on the 14th December :rotfl:) Last minute Christmas shopping :eek:

    They are the doorstop loans and I know what you mean she already said oh when your half way through you can take out again :cool: No thanks :rotfl::rotfl:
  • Tesco grocery shop done and delivered :)

    However I had a huge shock when I saw they took £128 from my account :eek:

    I always order online, and usually the same items 90% of the time. Anyway I order my meat from the counter, 2 mince 300g, 2 stewed beef 300g, 2 steak etc you get the point. Well they sent 2KG!! of each thing!! Anyway a phone call later and £58.06 is being refunded and they were very apologetic.

    So first grocery spends of the month £70. Will receive 11.20 back from mum and then £30 from kids dad too :)

    HI,
    are all the puddings that you eat (in your meal plan) Homemade? I really struggle to afford puddings in my grocery budget of £50-£60 a week, do you have any ideas for cheap ones?

    It's great to see no £0's on your debts now, well done :) My last debt is with the DWP (it was for a social fun loan from the last time i was on benefits), and as its taken out of my benefits automatically, i dont get to see how much is left. Think i will phone up every now and again just to check.

    Yer I make everything, I prefer knowing whats in the "junk" my kids eat than buying shop bought, truthfully I don't think most things work out cheaper until you have a stock of things iykwim? Like flavorings/nuts etc. What I do now I have bits of most flavorings/almonds/dessicated coconut etc I just add £5's worth into my weekly shop :) I live for my Bero book, and DS choose's things he'd like that week. Apart from cookies I usually make at least once a week because I find them a lot cheaper and nicer than buying cookies. Australian crunch is the favorite here its gone before I can even think I'll use it as puddings.
    :rotfl::rotfl:

    And yes feels good there not being loads of 0's in my sig :D X
  • Well busy day I'm shattered! All baking and cleaning outside done. Just come in from brushing the paths out the front, its freezing out there! Had to get it done why its dry so at least if it rains for the next few days all outside front/back and pavements all round are clean, windows cleaned outside etc.

    Tomorrow is cleaning inside, lists needed I think :rotfl:
