Possible to upgrade to 5.1.1 using this ultrasn0w method?

So some of you may know i had bother with my iPhone 3GS over the weekend. I finally got it sorted last night, but it required upgrading to iOS6, which i really didn't like.
Thankfully i had saved my SHSH blobs.
I was running 5.0.1 previously. Listed in the blobs is obviously 5.0.1 but also 5.1.1
I used this method: http://www.ipadforums.net/jailbreaking-hacking-tutorials-how-guides/69285-tutorial-downgrade-ipad1-5-0-1-using-shsh-blobs-redsn0w.html to downgrade from iOS6 to iOS5 which worked.
My query is can i use the same method to upgrade to 5.1.1?
I could just "try it" but I don't want to try it out & then balls up my phone & have to spend hours sorting it out again.
