I went to a local phone shop today and had a look at Samsung Galaxy S3 in particular as this was the one I was interested in.. and.. I didn't buy it.

It just didn't impress me enough. It's the best phone on the market at the moment, but compared to my Galaxy S especially with Ice Cream Sandwich it doesn't justify spending 400 quid on it. A better screen yes, a better camera yes.. and that's about it. It would probably feel like moving from iPhone 4 to iPhone 5.. completely pointless waste of money.

If I hadn't had my current phone the Galaxy S3 would be my choice no doubt.

I think I will wait for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 as this seems to be much more than what my Galaxy S is.

Speaking as someone who sold a 2 month old HTC One S for almost £300 (got it with the crazy CPW deal a while ago) and bought a Huawei G300 for £230-odd less because at the end of the day it does everything I wanted it to do I applaud you, OP. I just wish I'd sold it the day I got it and got even more spondooliks for it.
