"Looking for a property"? Are you talking about one that you can use to sell through or buy through? Would have presumed the first, but you never can be too sure what people are asking on here!

As above, we need a location. Way too vague at present.

Almost all will be on rightmove. But if you want specifics, then your actual location will be handy...

Few people would worry unduly about buying through the 'right' agent.

True, there are plenty about that I wouldn't choose to mix with socially or employ, but that's neither here nor there.

Anyway, there are bad agents with good properties, and vice-versa. The agent works for the vendor and should look after their interests, not yours.

However, rest assured, if you make an offer on a property, the agent is legally bound to pass it on to the vendor. The other tricks they may get up to after that is another matter .... ;)
  • You aren't using any agent, btw.

The vendor does, that's who they act for and are paid by.
You/we are just a necessary evil to be sold to.

Are you looking for recommendations for an agent to sell your current home?
  • I have heard cubitt and west are a good company and have good customer service to boot but you dont know which company you will get because it depends which property you like. Look on the generic sites to see what properties you fancy.
