Twice I have had a problem with D&A/Boots. First time 4 years ago got eye test and bought specs from them. I had only worn them for half an hour because they were giving severe headaches. Cauase poor eye test. Eye test redone and a totally different result - how the hell can you be +1 out!
A month ago, eye test again with D&A/Boots ( I put the previous one down to a one off error). Lo and behold, same problem again. This time I just got a refund from them and went elsewhere for a new eye test. I admit that they had improved, the error was only 0.5 this time
Would I recommend D&A/Boots? On their performance that I have had from them then definitely not the branch that I attended. The strange thing is that the optician at Boots, before they merged, was good and my wife has had no problem.
