    You can try E-Bay UK.

Yes, as I said, I want a proper registered merchant where I could buy a lot of stuff, merchants on EBAY (whether it is EBay France, Uk, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc) are often more expensive due to the Commission they have to pay to Ebay and Paypal

For books I use the "book depository" for people outside of the UK as they have free world-wide delivery and are very reliable.

Thanks, I might just try this. Do you know if packages are ok. With Amazon, most of the time, my books arrive damaged due to the poor packaging.

Do you know how the bookdepository handle claims in this kind of situation should it arrise?

The Book Depository are actually a part of Amazon. Since I have never received a damaged book from either of them, I suggest you order one and see what happens.

Yes they will, but they are incredibly expensive. So I'll pass, but thanks

I doubt this very much. If this was the case they will not registred in the UK but in Luxemburg.

Lucky you if you never had a book damaged by the poor packaging of Amazon, I cannot say the same thing. However I hope the book depository takes more caution about this. We'll see anyway.

I didn't know they were still going! Not sure how cheap they are though.

It is clearly listed at the bottom on the home page of every Amazon in every language and country. But you strike me as the sort of person who will find objections to all suggestions. Why don't you try to find an alternative to Amazon and come back and tell us?

No, not really, please read my first post, I explain clearly what I am looking for, so obviously when suggestions are different to what I am seeking, I state it.

Really? Why would I have created a post in the first place then?
