For books I use the "book depository" for people outside of the UK as they have free world-wide delivery and are very reliable.

If you are looking foer DVDs etc, then play.com may be worth looking at. I use them as an alterate to Amazon sometimes.

Have sent items to Sweden from them and have all been free postage. GBP to euro exchange rate isn't the best though.

Play;com doesn't allow a payment in GBP to a French adress and as their exchange rate are very very high, it is much more expensive than ordering at Amazon. Plus, you cannot delete, from their site, your credit card information and I do not like this
