  • Hello SalthePal

I've got Ribble and Greta. I see that Greta isn't listed at the moment - you could ring them and ask when they'll have it. I rang them because the ones I wanted weren't in the size I need and they were really helpful re availability.

  • Another fan of muckboots here, quite pricey but will last a long time and are very comfortable.

These^^ are apparently all good for dog walking. I however wear walking boots for dog walking and use steel toe capped boots for gardening as they last longer and are more comfy for me than wellies.

I'm a real fan of Aigle neoprene lined wellies. As a horse/dog owner, as well as a gardener I find them really comfortable and warm in winter. They are not cheap, but my last pair lasted me about 6 years, wearing them most days sometimes for most of the day.

Aigle fan here! I was recommended these by a friend who ran a 'country wear' shop. That was over 20 years ago and they are still good!

My husband spends a lot of time bird watching both here and abroad. He has gone through many types and brands of boots over the years. He reckons his current Muckboots are great although a bit pricy.
  • decathlon's wellies are really easy to get on and off

If you haven't picked any up yet, have a look in b&q tomorrow- they've got their big clearance sale tomorrow and wellies should be part of it
