  • I am still getting car insurance quotes  I am so glad I persuaded DH to get a company car a few years ago, so I only have to do this once a year!

DD1 has reduced her minutes on her moblie contract (which I pay for at the moment) so that will save me £4 a month :) She wants to buy herself out of her contract, and get an iphone (that she will get a contract for herself :T) so that will save me even more :) I will probably help her out, when she has saved a bit towards it, as it is money I will be spending anyway, one way or another.

Roast dinner is cooking. We will have that in the next hour. We are heading to the O2 later to see Michael McIntyre, so we will have a giggle later :D

I think I will spend some time getting car insurance quotes
now, as it is due on the 5th. I hate doing this. I will get quotes, they will be cheaper than my renewal, I will phone them to cancel, they will beat quotes & I will leave insurance where it is! Why can they not just give me a decent renewal price in the first place and stop wasting my time!:mad:
Because thsat would be simple and logical, and these people just don't do simple and logical!:D And because they rely on peoples' inertia, that existing customers won't get around to doing the work to get other quotes, but will just renew.

Bossy glad your Dad is OK; more worry is the last thing you need just now, methinks.:o

    Victoria welcome aboard!:o

Just got back from taking Dave for his second marathon of the day;:D and managed to get some chicken down him.:T He's a lovely, sweet little chap, but he's a demon to feed. One day he'll only eat C@es@r, another day he'll only eat chicken, then he'll only eat cheese..... this afternoon it's chicken, but only if it's got some skin with it. *rolls eyes*

If he was my dog, he'd soon be growing out of this phase; but there's not a lot I can do in just a week, and it's not my place to, in any case.

Oh.... and he sleeps on the bed.:( Again, if he was my dog he'd soon learn to sleep in a basket in the kitchen, but he has no proper bed, only a thin blanket, and it's unfair to make him do something different than what he's done since he was 8 weeks old, and in a strange house, to boot.

Ah well, it's only til Friday; and he's so sweet-natured that he makes up for any inconvenience.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

I know you are right - but it is still annoying :o

I stopped to have lunch. I am now making sure we have tickets, etc and then we should be heading off to the O2 soon. I will see you all on the new thread! :p
