    Morning all

Vanilla hope you got some rest.

Went to be at 10pm as the others wanted to watch Dr Who so I've had ample sleep. Need to read a heap of Governor stuff whilst it is quiet.

    Plan today:

Label DS3 stuff and pack it
Locate some indoor shoes/slippers/pumps for him to take
    WM
    Ironing
    Change a couple of DDs
Sort out DS1s bank account with him
    DS1 to tidy his room
At least one hour in the room of doom
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

    Morning

We are out to meet a friend this morning. This afternoon I'll crack on with some laundry, kids bedding - they love their cushy new beds all padded out for winter, and DS stayed in his till 3am (then came into me saying he thought I needed a cuddle, lol) and DD stayed in hers until 6. Result!

Tonight I'm going to redo my budget and see where we are for the next few months. And maybe do a bit of meal planning and a shopping list...

ETA have seen the reports on the floods in Spain this morning, my dad is out there  so waiting for him to text me back, apparently 5 people have died in Murcia, which is where his place is...

Bossy, hope you get good news from Spain really soon.

Today I need to (but no promises):

    Bath dogs
    Sort out winter clothes
    Potter in garden

    I may instead decide to:

    Read my kindle/newspapers/magazines
    Do puzzles
    Make cards
    Watch telly

    Catch you all later.

It's quiet on here this morning. Either everyone is tearing around flying or are even lazier than me, although that will be difficult.

    So far I've:

    Lazed in the bath
Washed up (last nights dishes, well all of yesterday's actually)

    Oh, that's it.

    About to:

    Vacuum LR
Put washing on line and hope for the best weather wise
    Walk dogs

Then it will surely be time for a lunch break.

  • Good morning :D

Bossy I am glad your Dad is ok. It must be quite scary.

I woke up & DH was nowhere to be found! The dog was also missing, so my sherlock-like mind deduced an early dog-walk :p I have been in the bath - then cleaned the bath, sink & toilet. DD2 is in the bath now - so it probably needs redoing now :(

I have made my list for October:
    1. Sort out space for Christmas stash & keep list up to date
    2. List stuff on Ebay/Facebook/Amazon or take to CS
    3. Plan research project & make a start on essay
    4. Finish last year’s accounts
    5. Have LJ’s all up to date

As you can see - mainly paperwork/study related :( I am determined to keep on top of things with my studying, and not leave things to the last minute (so therefore less stressful :))

I think I will spend some time getting car insurance quotes
now, as it is due on the 5th. I hate doing this. I will get quotes, they will be cheaper than my renewal, I will phone them to cancel, they will beat quotes & I will leave insurance where it is! Why can they not just give me a decent renewal price in the first place and stop wasting my time!:mad:

    Ok - off I go!

As I know that things will inevitably overtake me next week and due to e lack of kitchen ATM I have a small mountain to climb, so I have started next weeks early.

    Today I have
Cleaned our ensuite including window and bin,
    Washed the floor
Cleared the floordrobe onto the Bed for now
Hoovered and put down carpet cleaner
    Done same in ds2s room
Hand swept and carpet cleaner down on stairs.

Just having coffee and breakfast, then I attack the conservatory which means cleaning windows, dusting and washing the floor. Then it will be the turn of the main bathroom and hall.

My reward for this will be time for me - bubble bath in a clean bath and then attacking the mountain range of ironing that has built up. Will not think about tiredness!
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
  • glad your Dads ogt a message to you that hes ok Bossy, must have been a worrying time for you. HUGS

Suppose I should bath some girls :(

I have a super sore infected finger which I lanced and squished earlier.. that was icky.

Dot is eating a baby wipe, OH is in bed and I am hoping AF is about to make her first appearance since July!!

3am I got to bed by the time DS1 collected Fabian and I got to bed. It is probably only the third time OH has gone to bed before me in 3.5 years!

Right.. girlies in ye bath and the babies can then go in and then tge older ones.

DS2 has dentist tomorrow.. and I need to make a solictor appt.

I have to sort bill payments for tomorrow too.. I am thinking of just paying a huge chunk off the credit card it is that or do the christmas shopping for the 3 girls... I'll see how I feel in the mornng!
