  • Morning all, it's miss Eva's birthday today she's a big one. So party to go to at 5. Loads of flying to be done today so i'll be getting the kids to do stuff as well. Tomorrow we're away all day so i need the flying done today.

Back to court on monday and fingers crossed we'll be finished by wednesday. I need to do some serious flying before halloween.

    Right wish me luck...:rotfl:

    Hi all

Very blowy here and occasional showers. Haven't really enough washing to do a load yet. Went to get some boots this morning. Needed a cheapy pair - I rarely go out (as in adult company) but on the odd occasion (inc next Saturday!) I need something suitable for this iffy weather, that is neither trainers nor snow boots, lol. anyway, have found something bargainous, so we're all set.
Also got a wicked wig and witch dress from b&m for just a few quid so we all have Halloween outfits. We have friends coming over but they all said they'd help out with food and bring some decs.

So, being billy no mates this weekend, we were out sweeping the front, and neighbour but one has invited us for play and tea this aft. Their little boy is 18mth and bless he seems so little but he will be in the same school year as DD. so we won't be lonely after all. 4 days solid with two kids under 4 and no adult company at all could have been hard work...

OH just surfaced so I'll go water his coffee and get started on flinging.

For some reason Dot is chewing the velcro on Squeaks shoe..

  • Good afternoon :D

I decluttered cake at the macmillan thing yesterday :p Our event raised £5650!! :D (not all me eating cake, I might add).

Finally took the TD to the mending shop :j They will let me know in a few days what is wrong & how much it will cost. If it too much, I will get a new one. So hopefully by next weekend we should have a TD :)

Washing on the line, and another lot just finishing in WM. DH is scrubbing the handles from kitchen units! He has taken them off, and giving them a good scrub, rather than the wipe down I normally give them :o I may go and attack the cupboard under the sink.

DS's only jeans are in the wash, so he will have to wear shorts today! He is going with DH to my mums to sit with my step dad, while I take my Mum to see DD1's flat in Ipswich. It will be a break for her, and we can have a catch up. It is always sweltering at my mum's, so DS may be better off in shorts ;)

I need to get ebaying as well - I just CBA!! There may be some stuff I can try locally on FB as well (saves posting!) I am rubbish at getting to the PO. I did manage to remember to send my big bruv a card as it is his 50th today - that is an achievement for me!

Ok - I think I will venture to the kitchen no. I think the WM has just finished as well.

That's a great idea, I'll take you up on that one day!

DD used to nibble the Velcro of DS's shoes too...

I'm not ebaying as one of my new way friends organises NCT nearly new sales, and there's one in about 6 weeks so I'm going to see if I've enough for a stall there...

Decluttered a catch up call with my job share - she's really nice, I'm pleased they appointed her.

Washing brought in; more out on line.

    Lunch decluttered.

Went to PO; pointed out postman was leaving without the ebay sales (presumably) that were on the floor because they were too big for the sack - SD - too!
    Came home
WEent back to PO with insurance.
    Bought Tax disc:rotfl:
going to iron now - then make a start on the cleaning.

ExOH brought puppy (Westie) dog (we will say nothing about the man who has been paying me £5 a week 'support' for two teenagers all summer but who spent £500. On a dog. Cats were NOT impressed:rotfl: so WE won't be minding the dawg anytime soon.

Now, I do like Westies but didn't know they were that expensive:eek:

About to put some laundry in and get to grips with random kipple throughout the flat. There will be Dysoning but only after I've emptied the shredder. Guess how I know to do it in that order?:D
