CouponWoman - don't read this as it will upset you.

I remember a couple of years ago that airlines were considering actually using the combined weight of the passenger and luggage rather than just luggage.

It does cost more to transport an overweight person and their luggage than it does to transport a normal sized person and their luggage. I for one am in favour of doing this, but it would be so difficult to implement it that I think they backed off it.

I would never consider it fair to charge extra for the luggage required for disabled people, but for the most part a fat person can lose weight, a disabled person generally cannot change that fact. If a fat person has medical reasons for the extra weight then they would be able to prove that and be excused from the extra charges.

There was a large person on our Cuba flights. Every time he went to the loo he blocked the aisle and caused ridiculous tailbacks.

Now I am running off to avoid the missiles about to be thrown in my direction.

Evening all. I was gonna say I hope everyone has had a good day but I just read this and to be perfectly honest what is wrong with people. Do people really think like this?

Now I am gonna read back beacuse I cannot imagine what has preempted such a pile of tosh.

A bit OT , don't forget to watch the Valleys tonight at 10pm on MTV channel 126 ..

I hate programmes about the Valleys, the Ruth Jones show Stella showed us in a bad light. Dread to think what this will do for our reputation.

They were interviewing the producer on the local news and said it would boost tourism as it did for Newcastle and Essex, i dont think so.

Out in Florida they have sample ride seats at the queue enrance so the larger person can try the seat before they queue. I did see someone being told to get off the ride as they were too large for the harness to lock:eek:
