:o:o:o really really must be early for work if I can - yesterday there was a mini flood across the only path into town :o
Had to take my Crocs (winter ones with linings) off & roll trousers up to wade through.
    :o:o:rotfl:

    How I didn't laugh :p

    Xmas Saver!
I will make it simpler for you.
    I have a shop I buy a tv in at £100 I sell it for £ 75, Have I made a Loss or Profit?

I did type a nice long answer when you asked this last time, which has been deleted (thanks Mods!).

    Yes you make a loss.

It proves my point, as my deleted post states.

You start with £100 assets, and end up with £75 assets.

With the APG glitch, you start with Cash only, and then after your first shop are left with Cash, Stock and Vouchers (all Assets) to go against your debit of the cost of purchase, which is equal to your stock value.

So you make a profit after the first shop, which is compounded as you buy more.

Let me make it simple for you...If you don't understand this, then go and study for an accounting qualification (part of my Business Degree).

Oh, and don't go and patronise people when you don't understand the answer to the question in the first place!.

    .

It's still there Lawrie, I just read it!

Jamsponge, I'm going to take today's news as partially positive. Hopefully the pod weren't trapped for too long and therefore didn't suffer too much distress, and hopefully the lone dolphin that was sold will at least be looked after rather than killed for food. Those are the only positives I can draw today. Thanks for the update.
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

    Morning all!

First time ever I've hit the top spot on the quiz!

Makes up for the 2/10 I got earlier in the week.
