yes - you are meant to declare extra income. You can earn a hobby income for up to around £3000 a year but you are still supposed to declare it. Above that its taxable.
I agree with all the posts re the tax man being interested, if you think he's not then look at what they do consider income - if you have the use of a company car that is considered taxable income, if you get paid in kind ie you work at a butchers shop and get an allowance of £40 a week for meat , then that is a taxable income, so do not think for one minute he's going to ignore the value involved in some peoples "stash" especially if they are going to sell on.
And good morning (my manners , honestly, not a morning person usually) Sorry folks.

Good morning one and all
Very wet but not too blustery unlike yesterday:eek:
Had to put the heating on on Sunday but resisted since.
Hope all the coughing and spluttering people are on the mend and keeping the germs to themselves:D. Its starting in work too so Hope its stays away from me.
Got two small APGs from yesterdays shops and spent 5 APGs getting them! Got trouted on a £16 APG but turns out there wasn't a manager in to sign it so she just put it through:D
I think the Duck fresh discs aren't working any more as Mr A has them at £2 each now - anyone else found this?
Hope everyone has a good day
Should still work as there on 3 for 2 waitrose.0 -
wet and wild here - and I have to go to work - would much prefer staying here and curling up with my laptop but ho hum - off to work. See you all later - don't talk too much or will be skipping again tonight0

Good morning all, woken to beautiful sunshine here.
Not fair though, the nighttime temperatures here are about 1 third of what they were in Cuba, rather wishing we were there now ! Will be able to put some pics up sometime soon maybe, trying hard to find the motivation right now with the thread in the state it is in.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Morning... is it safe to come out??
I've been up all night with DS2 and one of his triggered asthma episodes... off to the doc in a half hour to sort it. I caught both of wackynut's morning greetings!Morningand the one good thing that came of being up in the night was that I won a pair of exercise/lycra legging/pants on a fb comp. Everyone else must have been asleep! Will be good for the half marathon training- it's in 3 weeks
Have a good Tuesday all!0
