Morning... is it safe to come out??
I've been up all night with DS2 and one of his triggered asthma episodes... off to the doc in a half hour to sort it. I caught both of wackynut's morning greetings!

;) and the one good thing that came of being up in the night was that I won a pair of exercise/lycra legging/pants on a fb comp. Everyone else must have been asleep! Will be good for the half marathon training- it's in 3 weeks
    Have a good Tuesday all!

That's 3 mornings that I've posted with no sleep in between. Your lucky I'm not talking tosh, :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I hope all gets sorted at the doctors later and well done on your win.

I did type a nice long answer when you asked this last time, which has been deleted (thanks Mods!).

    Yes you make a loss.

It proves my point, as my deleted post states.

You start with £100 assets, and end up with £75 assets.

With the APG glitch, you start with Cash only, and then after your first shop are left with Cash, Stock and Vouchers (all Assets) to go against your debit of the cost of purchase, which is equal to your stock value.

So you make a profit after the first shop, which is compounded as you buy more.

Let me make it simple for you...If you don't understand this, then go and study for an accounting qualification (part of my Business Degree).

Oh, and don't go and patronise people when you don't understand the answer to the question in the first place!.

    morning all
lawrie excellent post however i wouldn't waste your breath hun:(

been lurking as not wanting to get involved with all the bad vibes on here at the moment, oops i think i just did:o:o:o

just wanted to post this hope it helps someone, if you are having problems with vouchers or purchasing gift cards i would ring Ho and get them to email you a response as well then if you can print off or show them if you have any problems in store

    Hi xxxxxx

Further to our conversation this afternoon, I can confirm that all of our stores should be accepting all Asda Price Guarantee vouchers that are presented with the matching receipt, regardless of the value of the voucher.

As of Sunday 23 September, customers will not be able to print a voucher for more than £15. If they already have vouchers that are in excess of £15, we must accept them.

I can also confirm that if you aren’t spending the full value of your APG voucher, we will put the remaining balance on to a gift card for you.
“15. Claims will be made via voucher (in store) or e-voucher (online). You must ensure that you retain your original receipt as vouchers are not valid without the original receipt. In store, vouchers (together with the original receipt) can be redeemed off the cost of your next shop at the checkouts, or alternatively (again, together with the original receipt) be redeemed at the customer service desk, if you are spending less than the value of the voucher”

If my colleagues in store aren’t aware of the above points, please show them this email. They are welcome to call the team on 0800 952 0101 if they need any further advice (the call reference number is in the subject line).

Thanks again for getting in touch. If there’s anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

    Kind regards

In M's yesterday they had reduced alot of the frozen party food to 50p each great for buffets at christmas etc.
