To anyone who uses this store - on Saturday and today no Ambrosia pots in the main section. However if you look at the end aisles near the tills at the far end (past batteries and DVDs) there is a small display with all the ambroisa small pots you may require. There are no ambrosia cans left of white or yellow stuff tho.

Checkout - kindly SA said "I'd like a big one like that!" :rotfl:What do you say (hasten to add she meant my £15.77 apg).

Just done my vouchers and she didn't put 2 of Kipling Battenburgs through - thank god it charged me full for the apple pies and not the Jordans Granola:eek: So figure its probably evened out.

Well, only 7 pages to catch up on, though judging by the last few posts I've seen things are getting heated again :(

No results from Percy's blood tests yet, they should be there tomorrow now. Unfortunately he's not well still, his tummy had started to clear on Friday but then he's been bad all weekend and today he's been throwing up :(

Had to nip to get some meds for him so fingers crossed they will help.
That's if I can get him to take the damn thing - Prokolin, disgusting greasy foul smelling gunk, they really didn't think that one through too well.
    Percy is not amused!

Ah the difficult task of getting them to understand its good for them! What amuses me is that our cats will go out and investigate "greasy foul smelling gunk" but turn their noses up at nicer things indoors.
I'm sorry, these vouchers are only exchangeable for abuse!

I wonder when the Inland Revenue will ask you to do an interview?

I mentioned this on the last thread when H was bragging about his car boot sales.....you'd think he'd be wanting to keep a low profile :rotfl::rotfl:
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

    Hi Magic,
Sorry Percy is still not well, are you able to hide the meds in some smelly fish?

So in that case, should we all abstain on the next glitch so that it lasts for longer but no one actually benefits from it?

Exactly my point - no. You'll get some who take the gentle approach, you'll get some who hammer it (yes, we all know who) but it's each to their own and I'm not shouting at anyone to say who is right or who is wrong. All I'm saying is that it doesn't matter if 1 person does 100 shops or if 100 people do 1 shop, the end result is the same.

Scamps - sorry, I said downfall, not the end of the glitch. The £15 cap may only be the start of the kneejerk reaction. I guess depending how long it takes to fix, more methods may be used. The cap will not affect most people and yes, some will have to use those good old fashioned dividers when doing their [STRIKE]shopping[/STRIKE] glitching but Asda know what is happening, the know what the triggers are, they are fast recognising regular shoppers and sooner or later they'll fix whatever it is that's broken.

  • Guys, I would like to try and calm things and get everyone to calm down.

This was a glitch. Not a policy which was abused (eg Tesco Refund and Replace). It was an error which we all exploited.

The only issue I would have with someone doing lots of massive shops is not being able to find the stuff in my store - I haven't done more than £25 coupon (which was one of my first and an 'OMG' moment) and have scaled them back to under £15 before the cap. I did find most of the triggers cleared out one day last week before this hit and was a bit peeved, but there could have been loads of reasons for this. But that would be my only niggle with someone hitting it big and stopping me getting a little. The only reason I'd feel someone had been a bit 'greedy' or 'selfish'

But lets not debate that. Its a small point and open to argument. lets not.

Ultimately has Henlans or any of the many (I have happened across two by PM who claim to have been doing several £100's a day) actually done ME or YOU any harm?

Ok you think without the publicity this could have carried on indefinitely without a cap? I really don't think so. We tell friends and whilst most glaze over it slowly builds. So the vouchers build and maybe this week or next week a cap.

So although we might not like the self promotion and the boasting etc etc, or we may.... has it actually harmed us?

I've got a few months supply of cheese, ketchup, mincemeat, coke, wine and a few other bits, not gone mad but am happy with this.

Why should I not be happy? Its all extra and a bonus.

Lets all be happy for what we have got, hopefully get some more, and stop the dischord. No need for it. Chill guys and lets relax and enjoy the glitch and be friendly.
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused
