just a thought but.......is there not a £100 a calander month limit on the APG???

seeing as this glitch is only 4 weeks old the most you can benefit is £200, it would be fun to be a fly on the wall when the "powers that be" decide what to do. When someone is openly stating that they have abused the system to the tune of over £8k. it doesn't matter how you do the maths it just wont add up

head office agreed that the £100 is per household and as they cant prove how many households you were buying for they cant stop you having more than this

They can if you put pictures of your stash on the internet and are quoted in a national newspaper saying your keeping it for "family" in your loft!

You could argue extended family, but they will still ban you!

  • the negative energy on this thread is absolutely draining I am absolutely sick of it! Hi to everyone I know see u soon when things get back to normal. Thanks to everyone who has helped me if i have had questions, it has been fantastic. But personally i am finding it too much of a drain to hang around. This whole "press" thing has just completely pushed things over the edge, you can't share things and support people on a forum if you have a member who has the hunger of a wild bore for press trying to generate attention. I think its proffesional help some people need not just a bunch of like minded people helping each other. Shame but it only takes one doesn't it.

Well, only 7 pages to catch up on, though judging by the last few posts I've seen things are getting heated again :(

No results from Percy's blood tests yet, they should be there tomorrow now. Unfortunately he's not well still, his tummy had started to clear on Friday but then he's been bad all weekend and today he's been throwing up :(

Had to nip to get some meds for him so fingers crossed they will help.
That's if I can get him to take the damn thing - Prokolin, disgusting greasy foul smelling gunk, they really didn't think that one through too well.
    Percy is not amused!

And thanks for asking supersally01 - I've just seen your post! :-)

    Before I start, I am not having a go I promise :o

What would you suggest would be staying under the radar? Before this, I had wombled a few receipts and a heck of a lot more since. My best womble was £4odd, most were less than £1 and a few were around £2. Even if we'd all stuck to under the magic £10 limit that draws less attention, how long do you think it would have taken the powers to be to see that many many more people were using the APG system and claiming more than the average of a pound or two?

I wouldn't say I admired Henlans stash nor his bragging to the media but credit where credit is due, at least he's been honest about what he's done. The cap as you say won't affect that many people although I admit I've gone over the new cap limit a few times with not realising how big the APG would be. By 'hammering' the system, most of us in my opinion, have gotten more than if we'd all stayed under the radar and spread the love over a longer period. If we'd done the slowly slowly catchy monkey method, we'd more than likely be at a fraction of our current stash levels and overflowing with fillers.

There's no right or wrong but for every person on this forum using this glitch, there's probably another 2 or 3 lurkers who may or may not have the same scruples (sp?) as most on here. This was a gift horse. I've taken advantage and I will continue to take advantage. No matter if you've done one shop or 100 shops, each person has contributed towards the downfall of this glitch in a cumulative way.

I would say keeping under ther radar would certainly not include press interviews.
I'm sorry, these vouchers are only exchangeable for abuse!

I have to agree with you.Why did helans feel the need to give the press a interview. But then again i never understand why people feel the need to air their problems on the Jeremy Kyle show.

For exactly the same reason.....desperate for their 15 mins of fame....and in both scenarios does not show them in a very good light and others see them for what they really are ;)
Maybe the JK show will be Henlans next quest....:rotfl:
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
