Fridge dead and taken away!

Fridge is supposed to be turning uo next Tuesday. That will mean two weeks without a fridge. It is only coming Tuesday because I phoned to find out why no one had contacted Mum to arrange delivery
I think this is very poor service from Zanussi and I will be contacting them to let them know.0 -

It's no good complaining to Zanussi, your contract is with Comet.0 -
Thanks Moonrakerz.
It was Zanussi I phoned about the fridge and who dealt with the engineer and delivery arrangements of the fridge. So I assume your saying contact Comet as Zanussi has provided poor service to a Comet Customer.
Do you think perhaps I should contact both ? ....0 -
No, go and create merry hell with Comet ! You bought the 'fridge from Comet, they are responsible for it, not the company that made it.
If you got it from a Comet store, go in there ask for the manager and refuse to leave the shop until they have resolved your problem. Take a pile of rotten, stinking food in with you, if you have any.0 -
Is there really any point now as a new fridge is coming in a couple of days
, you can hardly go complaining to Comet now as you went direct to Zanussi seems a bit unfair as they have not been involved

Ahh, but Comet/Dixons involve Zanussi themselves. If a fridge needs replacing Comet contact Zanussi and Zanussi contact the customer direct.
I dont know why it works like that!0 -
The more I think about the more I think I can't be bothered to complain.
Apathy wins again.........
But I won't be buying a Zanussi product or buying from Comet again.0 -

And you end up like this poor customer who doesn't which way to turn !
This is an old trick, "you'll have to take that up with Hoover, Ford, Sony, etc, etc"
I'm afraid we get the service we deserve.0 -
If you contacted Zanussi directly then Comet will have no idea that the item has gone wrong. You cant complain to Comet now about poor service when they havent done anything wrong. The OP's problem is with Zanussi and I would definately reccomend that you contact them and complain as 2 weeks sounds pretty bad!Green and White Barmy Army!0
