Any of your children under 5? You could qualify for warm home discount scheme.0 -
You should be getting a lot more now but you are obviously having to repay an overpayment from last year.
I asked about that but they said no, I thought maybe someone made a !!!! up somewhere but they wouldn't want to admit it,
But I just checked that entitled to thing and the results are almost correct
Tax Credits £6,797.14 £129,75
Means-tested bill reductions
Housing Benefit £703.26 £13.45
Your full rent of £110.83 per week will be reduced by £13.45 per week because of your entitlement to Housing Benefit. This means you will have to pay £97.38 each week.
Other income entitlements
Child Benefit £2,462.65 £47.10
Total Entitlements £9,963.05 £190.55 weekly
We are not claiming housing benefit as we applied and they turned us down.0 -

I think you have typed something wrong, I am getting over £170 for your income levels with 3 kids.
this means you are repaying £40 per week towards an overpayment.0 -

Blimey do you really get all this per week plus child benefit plus wages? No wonder people have to come down to earth with such a bump when the children leave education.
I'm going to have to look into IVF I think:rotfl:0 -
I've been on a DMP with CCCS for about 5 years with very little improvement, last time I checked it will be 2020 before I am debt free so hardly realistic.
What's unrealistic about taking eight years to clear your debts? Many, many people on here have debt repayment plans taking longer than that. It took me 11 years to clear all mine!"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". For three children that looks as if it is based on a household income of around £22,000...was your income higher last year than this year?

Since tax credits reduced our payments we are at the stage where we are struggling, so much so that we are in the process of getting an IVA as we can't afford our debts.
I earn min wage and come home with £220 per week
My partner works part time 16 hours and comes home with £109 per week, we also get child tax at £130
So that is a total household income of £459 per week, We used to get £180 per week tax credits and as I say we are really feeling the drop, I was unemployed for 4 months and can say we where better off then on benefits as we got full housing benefit etc, it feels like we are working for nothing really as today Sunday I am once again skint until next Friday (pay day)
have you checked to see if you can get a DRO as opposed to an iva?0
