I Want To Do A Fitness Course But Don't Know Where To Start!

Right. I obviously don't know ALL the courses and qualifications out there, but I can speak from personal experience.
ITEC is a good place to start. They do an Anatomy & Physiology course that is a good gateway to different things in this field - you learn about all the muscles, all the bones, all the major systems (endocrine, digestive, respiratory, circulation, etc). It's actually very fascinating and you learn a lot (especially if you have a good lecturer) but it IS only a starting point.
There are courses in sports massage which you can advance to, but you will have to take the Diploma in Holistic Massage like I did to get there.
Once you have all this, maybe you can go into physiotherapy or something similar.0 -

I agree with fablad.......slightly biased as I also qualified with ITEC !
The anatomy and Physiology is a great base for any such course, teaches you all muscles/bones/systems and how the body works in great depth, sports therapy is a natural follow on.
Contact your local college as others have said there are many courses out there, I have noticed quite a few sports type courses and am sure these would start at a very basic level for beginners!
Let us know how you get on SS.
some links local to me but a starting point
http://www.midkent.ac.uk/micrositecourses.asp?site=15
another site i use which has forum for sports therapies
http://www.healthypages.net/forum/tt.asp?forumid=47
probably not what you are looking for but you may find links/help to find waht you actually might want!
