The seeds I bought in an Asian food shop.
All I do is pop some seeds into a pot of compost, put in my tiny plastic green house. When the plants develop I don't even p r i c k out, just break up and plant in the ground.
If it makes you feel better I can't grow basil

Sow in May/June - I prep a row or area, chuck the seeds down and bingo.
If you want it for the leaves though - you are better buying Cilantro seeds, rather than Coriander. If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
We had a thread a while ago. I recommended quilquina as a substitute, and I still do.

Not sure how it will fare as we go into winter, but I've just germinated some to grow under protection.0 -

I am after a coriander as I use a lot in Indian fusion cooking.
Quilquina looks nothing at all like the coriander leaves - what's the flavour like?0
