Using 2 home hubs on one line?

I have my BT home hub situated upstairs, but find that I can't get a wi fi signal on my Wii downstairs. I need the upstairs hub for my office and bedrooms and wondered if I could situate a second hub downstairs on the same phone line?
If not, can anyone suggest a simple (will need to be simple) solution to the problem. I think the biggest difficulty is that we have thick stone walls and the signal simply isn't strong enough to reach the Wii. I would like to be abl to access BBCiPlayer and other options via my Wii rather if this helps.

Thanks for this, however bit outside my price bracket, which is why I was enquiring about using the second home hub. Certainly worth considering if my finances improve though.0

It is not possible to have two homehubs (modem/routers) on the same phone line.
The above solution is a good one if you need wireless, if not just use a pair of homeplugs. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Thanks, where how exactly would an ethernet cable help? Do I connect the Wii to the home hub via ethernet?
May sound like a silly question but I set up the home hub using the instructions and don't have a great deal of technical knowledge.0
