Lost in the world of trying to get broadband!

Hi.
I currently run wifi on my laptop from a T-Mobile dongle which I pay £15 a month for but it is so slow and as I am at home all day I use my allowance up so quick!
I want to get broadband in my home but I have no phone line so that would need installing. I have viewed various packages but to be honest they don't make sense as they then add line rental and I am confused.
What I would like is, can anyone point me in the right direction for a full cost of having a phone line put in with a broadband package. I don't want TV or anything else and don't even need a phone I just want the line and broadband and obviously under the £15 a month I already pay for the dongle top up and I have no money to pay upfront for 12 months rental or any other charges. I am in CW5 if that helps. Thanks for looking and any replies.

Unless there is a provider with a special offer at the moment, you will have to pay about £150 for a landline to be installed. You will then have to pay rental for the landline, whether that's as part of a package with the broadband or separately.
According to MSE (1st entry Talktalk has line rental up front, scroll down to second entry for Primus have a phone/broadband package for £12.99 /month with free landline installation or reconnection. 10GB data limit. No inclusive calls, but you can add evening/weekend calls and an extra 10GB data for £1 /month with another link.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
I am in a simular situation, when I spoke to Sky (using the online chat tool) they said that their £10 set up fee would include the installation of a new landline. I do worry though that the sales person got it wrong. I took a screen shot of the conversation, but not sure if that would stand up as proof.
With some cashback offers that would make sky cheaper than your current dongle in the first year.0 -
Apparently Post office charge £60 for line install. I found an offer today with primus of free line install. Another poster says read reviews about primus so may be they have poor reviews.0

No line rental equals no ADSL broadband, the only other option is VM cable service, if available in your area.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
