  • Finishing the week at £23.17 / £25 Slight cheat this week though. I normally buy a saturday paper from this budget, but have bought them out of my grocery budget this week.

  • Hi everyone. Yesterday went over due to having to catch bus back from work (had already bought train ticket and OH's euromillions tickets), so had to break into an extra £10.00. Made sure I put the rest in the savings.

£12.10/£10.00 (£7.90 put into the savings pots)

    Total for the week:
    £68.36/£70.00 (£1.64 put towards savings)
Just scraped through, on the plus side have managed to put 50 across into my Santander savings :)

Pledge for this week is £70.00 again. Have a fab weekend everyone xxx

  • Well we spent a little more last night.

DH and I went out for a meal...I had budgeted for that but we got ice cream for dessert from tesco and a couple of bars of choc for the kids so spent £8 there.

Also I bought a concealer off ebay but that in a sense is money saving because it's a trial size of an expensive one so will find out if any good before I buy the full size.

I still have my eBay things ongoing and have had a sort out for some more stuff to sell.

On the downside - DH is currently ripping out some cupboards in the kid's bedroom so we can get the walls skimmed, however the plaster that is on is coming off as well so that may end up costing a pretty penny more than we have saved!

My total spend for the challenge was £58.80/£40.00.

Will try better next week. Have got some extra money coming in so that should help becuase I'm off to see George Michael and DH is off out to play pool on Friday. Going to pledge a bit more to cover it.
  • New thread started and updated to here with the weeks spends and next weeks budgets.

Glad you are all joining me as i dont think i'd have the motivation to keep doing it on my own.
