  • Rubbish start to the week.

Had agonising toothache last night so I arranged an emergency appointment this morning. £17.60 for the temporary filling, £7.60 for the prescription and bought a magazine for a pick me up moment (£3.39)

    :(
  • Hi, Can I join you this week? I have six pounds in my purse and my son owes me £12.00 although I may not get that back! So at the moment I would to stick with a six pounds spend.

    Thanks

  • Hi everybody! Forgot to update last night - was busy ebaying!!

Anyway, I had a NSD yesterday AND today - Wehay that's 2 in a row!! Need to give DD £3 for football tomorrow but should be about it.

Had a bit of a bum day though...we have 2 cars, 1 of which is an old Ford Ka - this one is just used for work and back. Anyway I discovered yesterday it's test was a month overdue!! I thought it was October. I was mortified. Never have I got something like that wrong before. Anyway it failed miserably and needs £250 worth of work which we'll have to pay. FIL has said he will give us the money (as a gift as him and MIL were going to give their 3 kids £250 extra for Christmas). We are very lucky that we have this gift but it annoys me that it needs paying in the first place!!

Hopefully should make some pennies on eBay as well which will go towards our debt.

Hope everyone is well - keep plodding on those of you who have splurged!x
  • Spends for yesterday were a little over as I had to catch bus home due to trains being cancelled (stupid rain).

£8.10/£10.00 (£1.90 in the savings pots)
