Which debt agency do Orange use?

Hi,

I took out a contract with Orange in May 2010 and was up to date up until about a year ago when I was finally pulled under by the depression I have been battling for years. I was incapable of managing my affairs and was in a very dark place (yeh i know - i should have switched the lights on!), which resulted in me not paying my Orange bill, amongst other things. I am considerably better now and have sorted out everything else. However, I moved out of the flat where my bills were going and have no record of anything Orange. I recently contacted them to ask about the status of the outstanding amount but as I have no record of that old number or any account info they would not help me and hung up. I have tried to email them explaining the situation and to tell them that I want to pay the bill but they do not have a working email enquiry system and keep telling me to call. Hello vicious circle.
I presume after a year of non payment that my account is now with a debt collection agency yet as they will be sending mail to my old flat which I can no longer access, I have no idea who this agency may be, and no way of finding out from Orange who they deal with. Can anyone help?

contact the landlord and RM , you should have had your email re-directed, being depressed is no excuse, many of US have been in that dark place, doesn't mean life stops although sometimes it feels like it, glad you have come through it though.
Oh by the way I don't know which one they use, perhaps getting a credit check on yourself may reveal?
  • They use dlc in birmingham. Call orange and they will tell you who they have sent the account to.
  • Being placed in a psychiatric recovery home after numerous suicide attempts did somewhat hamper my efforts to conduct daily business in an efficient manner, so, thanks for the advice but next time don't be so glib in regard to somebody else's problems, which you know nothing about. I came for help, not judgement.
