We locked ourselves out of the house - thinking of getting a key safe

The problem with this is that anyone else can reach the key as well!0 -

It is reassuringly heavy and solid. Even if someone got it off the wall, which is unlikely, I doubt they'd be able to open it.
That's one very similar to what my grandad had before he moved into a care home - we have it now (though not in use). We got it from the people who provided the carelink (pendant around the neck, linked to the phone) service for him for £60 as we had a call out at 7am because the carer couldn't get in to wash him as he'd slept through and his hearing aid wasn't in.
They're fantastic and - if the same as his - tested by police etc and for fire/hammer/knife etc etc.Princess Sparklepants0
