Won't let me leave negative feedback

You must leave feedback before the case is closed. What I usually do is leave positive feedback along the lines of "No payment and no communication - BEWARE" Then immediately close the case.
I could be doing it wrong but I have seen many other seller's leave fb along the same lines for non payment.I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0 -

I'm sure those buyers are very grateful for giving them a lovely positive green spot. Unfortunately the sellers won't like you at all as it means the buyer gets their strike removed as the transaction was 'positive' and gets to ruin all our auctions as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi Soolin, so it does more harm to the non paying buyer if no feedback is left? I have not heard this before.I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0 -
For non payers, leaving feedback does no good, it mostly never did anyway. Very few sellers have time/inclination to check the feedback of bidders and with sniper software it is often impossible. All leaving negative feedback ever did was make the seller feel better for a few seconds.MadelinesMum wrote: »Hi Soolin, so it does more harm to the non paying buyer if no feedback is left? It's been 4 years + since negative feedback was taken away from buyers not much has changed in that time regarding non payers, there were non payers before and there are non payers now, there always will be no matter what anyone does..0 -
As long as you complete the NPB process it harms the buyer.MadelinesMum wrote: »Hi Soolin, so it does more harm to the non paying buyer if no feedback is left? I have not heard this before.
The way you're doing it if the buyer complains to ebay the feedback you have left will be removed and YOU will be the one likely to get a policy violation on your account and the possibility of losing your account. If a Feedback comment includes any information that isn't allowed, eBay will remove the Feedback if it is reported to us, and may take further actions, including limits of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.0 -

There has been reports in the community boards of buyers getting the strike removed if a false positive has been left. eBay see a positive, therefore buyer must be Ok therefore the strike must have been in error.
I cannot see any use in giving a buyer a lovel positive mark if they are bad.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
