SKY cancelled my order, even after I rang them back.

I just want to know if you guys are experiencing the same problems as me...

I was able to get the 50% code yesterday from MSE when it went live in the morning. I placed the order at around 11:15am in the morning.

I got a confirmation email saying they'd received it, and an advisor would later contact me. This morning I got a call from what I'm assuming was Sky, as soon as I picked up. They cut it on me.

I then checked my emails and I'd gotten an email from Sky Online saying they'd like me to call in ASAP to an 0844 number.

I rang in on a free SKY mobile number and after a lot of questions because she couldn't find the account, she asked for my email address and located it. Nothing looked wrong but she transferred me to the sales department to make sure. Lady there just gave me another 0844 number and I had to give in and ring it from my home phone.

Nice gentlemen said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my account, everything was pending and good to go.

I hung up, feeling a bit confused but overall happy. Then litterally a minute later, checked my emails on my phone and I had another email from Sky Online. Order was cancelled.

It really was just a minute later. I was fuming. Anyway I rang back, the nice guy, different from the first, was confused at first. But eventually said it was something to do with the payment.

I asked if it had anything to do with the fact that I had a 50% off code, he said no. Then I asked if it was because I used TCB and again he said no. Something wrong with my payment, but I was positive I'd entered it right because I hate entering card details in, and I always double read.

So I've now had to place another Sky order through them.

I've gone through TCB again, because last time it did track. Hopefully it will again.

Not sure if I'm willing to go through this hassle again, if I end up getting another email.

Do you guys think it's because of the added TopCashBack?

And is it just me?

    I think you're right.

    Just got an email from Sky, welcoming me. Giving me an account number and telling me to go online to track.

    Last time I didn't get any of this. But it's early days yet so anything can happen I guess.

    Haven't got the TCB email yet either. Last time it tracked really quickly. Hoping I won't have to submit a missing claims.

    I think it was your payment too. I had that same message in my e-mail that you had and didn't get any phone call but just checked my email and found the welcome message with an account number for Sky.

    Trying using their online chat and speak to one of the agents there. They transfer you to the sales team so they can look into your account and find out what's up.

    I'd be really annoyed if my order got cancelled - how would you get the discount if that's the case and you have to resubmit?

    Its gone through the second time round I think. I got an account number this time.

    What really bugged me was the fact that I'd rang in, 0844 number, was told everything was fine and not a minute later I got an email cancelling the subscription.

    The guy on the phone said the code was fine. And even recited it back to me so I could order it again.

    your tcb will decline at payment, due to you not been able to use voucher codes with them also
    Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
