Hi All
Can i sign up again for £150 for September? Came in at £120 for August but want to keep the £150 budget just for now.
Am aiming to try and be a bit more adventurous as I feel we are eating the same things all the time. Going to pop back to the recipie index and have a look.0 -

I am a long time lurker who dips in and out of this challenge, but i need to focus hard this month.
I will be budgetting £100 for the month which i shall keep in my signature.
Am surprised at myself thought i had no food stocks in ... to my surprise i have managed to meal plan for a whole week without need to get anything. Although proper milk rather than skimmed milk powder might be preferable :rotfl:.
Will be keeping a much closer eye on spends in general this month time to get the spending diary out again!
Good Luck everyone and thanks to those that run and organise this thread.Consolidated and under control 42 payments to go.:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:([STRIKE]£7028.50[/STRIKE]£5990.43Aim: 35 and Debtfree0 -
:wave:Hi ej22
It's your choice whether to keep track of your budget in your signature or to appear on the list at the beginning of the thread. Some people prefer to have their name in the list to keep them focussedIf you want I can add you to the list. Let me know.
Coxy
Thank you for the nice welcome. Yes please put me down for 200 per month.
We are a family of 3 and I am aiming for 50 pounds per week plus also do from tomorrow on the second purse challenge of 5 pounds per week. Does anybody think that that is far too much or is that a good amount?

Hi,
I am trying to change my signature but it is not working. There is no little pen behind my signature as it is with all the other details you can give for the signature.
Feel a bit silly to ask but can anyone walk me through it?

ej, go to the green bar at the top of this page, click on USer CP, and you will see 'Edit Signature' in the list of options on the left hand side... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Hello and welcome to the newbies  you will not believe how lovely and helpful the people on this thread are and how much you can cut your grocery bill by if you stick at it. My target is high compared to some others but is more than £80 a month less than I used to spend
Don't officially start until tomorrow but OH has been out and done September's last shopping and most of that will be eaten in October so I feel like we're there now.
I won't have any spends until next Sunday as OH is 'taking over' the grocery shopping/cooking/meal planning this week and was given £55 to spend, with the agreement that any spends over this amount would be out of his own pocket. He has already gone over and is in charge until the 7th of October so any food we buy until then won't be out of my GC pot.
He also said he had enough food for at least 8 dinners and is cooking up for the freezer today :T so my week next week ought to be super cheap, especially because there are two dinners for the two of us already in the freezer that for some reason he hasn't taken advantage of (I did tell him about them to be fair). I might not have to buy anything but fruit and milk my week :rotfl: This sounds mean but he didn't make a meal plan and I think he might just learn the value of doing so before hitting the shops :rotfl:Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018
