Hi
Having looked at previous threads, hoping to find anyone who had put in a PPI claim with Capital Bank, it looks as though they no longer trade under that name, does anyone know where I would sent the claim to?

It isnt GE capital. I am pursuing capital bank through the FOS they have written to bank of scotland/halifax on my behalf0

I see, according to FSA register Asset Bank are now Bank of Scotland PLC, so send a complaint to them. You cannot send complaints directly to FOS first, firm first then FOS last.0

I believe Capital Bank has been taken over by Black Horse as when my hire purchase for my car with Capital Bank came to an end last year all the correspondents came from Black Horse.0

With mine it was sent to Santander (GE Capital Bank) they dealt with the complaint, unfortunately though as they were not regulated by the FSA, I'm not able to take the matter to the FOS, but details of the FLA are enclosed on the letter.
Did contact the FOS about this and if the FLA does not end up taking it on, they have mentioned about pursuing the underwriter.
Maybe Capital Bank is not the same as GE Cap bank???The one and only "Dizzy Di"

I have received a letter from Bank of Scotland, regarding my claim for mis-sold PPI from CAPITAL BANK.

I would be interested I have my ppi policy number relating to my capital bank loan and have written to BOS but as yet have had no response
