Removal of executor for wasting and mismanaging estate

Thank you for all your replies, if anyone has any advice about removing an executor, I would be grateful. I suppose that on the basis of all the input that you kind folks have given me, the funeral prices (although expensive) do seem to add up correctly. There is still the matter of the solicitor/executor allowing an auction company to sell all my Dads belongings (with the exception of all his pots and pans etc) and the fact that the solicitor/executors interim charges are in the range of £5,123 and counting. They have yet to provide me with a detailed itemised list of their charges.0

these charges are excesive.
£2k for the funeral directors services seems high but it does vary by region,
We did two cremations Norfolk for under £3k each including bearers and a wake for 50.
there was no extra charge for viewing in the standard fee.
I would contact the funeral directors for copies of the instruction they recieved.
The solicitors charges also seem execesive.
When was the will drawn up and who were the witnesses, might be worth investigating further.
also if you were named did it also have an address for you in the will.

My address was not on the will, but I only live a half mile from where I lived with my father before we lost contact. I am on electoral register and the solicitor had told me that she found me quite easily using 192.com, a charge for 192.com is listed on my dads expenditures document.my fathers former carer ( who warned me about the solicitor and auctioneer at the funeral) was the person who witnessed the will signing. I am still in contact with the carer.getmore4less wrote: »these charges are excesive.

You need legal advice, and evidence that the finds are being used wrongly. I would want to know what all the phone calls are.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
