  • They're almost out of date for glace fruit if they best by date is June 2013 as this stuff can last for years...so probably clearing stocks.
  • £5 for one, if you change it to two it comes to £80!

I'd like to think the £60 price tag is wrong...but don't think so:rotfl:

These things are really expensive - candied whole fruits.
I've been to a place in France where they make them, and they were charging something like 20 Euros for 5 clementines a few years ago.
My hub loves em, but I can't get the F&M ones to add to my bag :(

Gosh your right...I was greedy and bought 3 (not all for me) and it said save £90.
If it's a mistake we won't be getting any so it's all irrelevant

Perhaps there's just one left off the older stock..just spit balling here!
  • Same here, 1 in my basket and the price is £5 add another and it shoots up to £80.

Ordered the 1 and hope they honour the price :D
  • Got to checkout with one, and it went up to £40!
Took it out of basket and went to add it again, but price has been corrected. That was quick!! :(

Now it's gone to £40 after your order so perhaps I was right and there were limited number at £5 (sorry I ordered the 3 guys :o)

Handmade in France to a traditional recipe, these traditional sweetmeats are cooked then steeped in sugar solutions of increasing strength for days, and sometimes for months. As a result, glac! fruits will keep for several years without needing refrigeration. But we don’t think you will resist them for that long.
You've got to wonder how old the stock is:rotfl:
  • Yes I dithered and missed out too !!!
