Is there any way to find out which provider is associated with a Telephone Number, I've just moved in to a new house, looking to sign up for ADSL (was previously on cable).
I have taken over the BT line so I have the same number, I don't think the previous occupier has got round to informing their ISP they have moved, when I go through the sign up process my number comes up as connected to an existing provider and they require a MAC code ?
Is there an easy way to find out who the provider is ???
